I can't stand this kind of pretentious "art".
It irritates me when huge amounts of money are wasted on this kind of thing when really talented artists are virtually ignored.
But I agree with you that the panoramic view is cool.
while not usually a fan of Christo, I like this work a lot. Especially the opportunity for the public to stroll through/be a part of the art itself.
