CBC News: Murder prompts Brazilian Amazon reserve

This story showed up on the CBC website today - I hadn't heard a whisper about it until today. Anybody know the whole story? Violence and rainforest politics are not new bedfellows. Just think about rubber in the industrial age. A really good history is One River, by the ethno-botanist, Wade Davis. That book knocked me off my feet.
