Vibrandoneon

vibrando, originally uploaded by mister anchovy.

Check out this strange hybred musical instrument. This is Riccardo Breccia from Victoria Accordions.

Aw, couldn't believe that this has been up since 05 with no comments! I was looking at piano accordions and followed a link to the melodica, a posh wooden melodica called a mylodica via the vibrandoneon, searched for same and here I am! Maybe the instrument ain't gonna take over the world though!

You would be surprised at the number of people who have searched vibrandoneon, and came to this post - at least 3 or 4 each month. Yet, you were the first to comment. Thanks for visiting. Come back anytime.

Hi! Thanks for posting the photo.

That looks like a great instrument. I've been playing melodica for years and would love to get one of those. Where did you buy it? I can't find any way to order from the Victoria company. It's made by Victoria right? Any info you have would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Marco,
I can't help you with more info. I found the photo searching around on the web. It's not mine, and I've never seen one in real life. I'd love to play one though!

Oh well - thanks for posting the pic. Maybe I'll have to go to Italy to get one!

The one I want is this one:

Same design but with beautiful traditional piano-style keys. It's gorgeous.

I have one of these. I bought it in Italy about five years ago. I believe they've stopped making this now. The sound is really very good. I also have the "mylodica" which janet mentions. it also has a wooden casing, but is basically a repackaged cheapo melodica with a nasty sound to match!
