Stonechild case - final report

What really happened on the outskirts of Saskatoon that night in 1990 when Neil Stonechild froze to death? Two policemen have been fired, but the chief doesn't believe they are responsible for the death of the teen. CBC reports: "Constables Hartwig and Senger are being dismissed for failing to diligently and promptly report or disclose or offer material evidence to appropriate authorities that in November 1990 Neil Stonechild was in their custody as was their duty to do so," Sabo told a news conference. What were they covering up?
