no hockey night in Canada

A short season is not a bad idea. Doesn't hockey seem to go on and on and on and on? I'm not going to argue about who is the greediest. There is no shortage of greed in sports these days. It wasn't all that long ago that hockey wasn't such a lucrative sport, at least for the players. After the last baseball strike, I stopped following that game totally. I'm not the only guy here in Toronto who abandoned ship. For me it will be the same deal with hockey. Wait until the fans realize that they really don't need the game to be happy.
