I love this idea. Michelle Shocked is giving folks an opportunity to learn some of her songs on the instrument of their choice, and join her on stage during shows on her east coast tour. She wasn't kidding when she sang that tune with Doc Watson on Arkansas Traveler - home-made jam. This is a beautiful challenge to the world according to the Corporate Jam Factories. Michelle Shocked and Prince are both heros of popular music, because they took on the big record companies and survived. Bravo.
